It's a damn shame the shop who made these cupcakes for Truebies is all the way in New Jersey, because the site for the Sweet Avenue Bakeshop also featured Buffy and Twilight goodies.
However, I assume if you gave someone at Gigi's, Kroger, or my wedding cake designer (Stephanie Felts), some inspiration, they could custom make these treats.
I doubt doing my own would look so pretty, but I think I could pull off a version that this blogger mentioned in a blog that happened to be about vampire-related event planning.
The cupcakes were made at a bakery in Vegas, but all it looks like are cupcakes with a good swirl of vanilla frosting and some red gel that looks like blood (as if a vamp bit into it and now it's bleeding).
However, the goodies are called "Twilight Vampire Cupcakes" in the caption, so as you Twi-hards out there know, someone messed up.
That cake should be leaking venom . . . or at least glitter.
