Been waiting for more details on the Vampire Academy graphic novel mentioned on Richelle Mead's blog?
Wait no further! An exclusive posting of a few of the VA pages was posted this week on Scribd.
Based on these few pages, I'm not sure what I think yet. I am not hugely impressed by how the characters look, as I expect Lissa, Rose and (especially) Dimitri to live up to the descriptions in Mead's novels.
However, I could be spoiled by the graphic novels that Hubby has turned me onto or the ones I've chosen on my own like the True Blood Volume 1: All Together Now
I liked the True Blood comic because it was true to the characters, but it was an all-new storyline that wasn't in the books or the show. Both graphic novels have good, sexy art when it comes to character dress and interaction. Plus, parts of these are scary and well-drawn!
