My fiance just got a job as a high school Spanish teacher. I was looking up lesson plans and worksheets to help him out, but I was wondering :
1. Are 10th graders still wildly into Twilight?
2. Would Twilight-themed work help them learn, or would they think it was silly?
This site has 23 pages of English work that's related to the series for 9th-12th graders. Why not go for it?
3. What if my honey did something for Spanish class, even if it was one poster, that was Twihardy?
The goals and objectives for the class could also apply to Spanish vocabulary building and reading comprehension, right? Here's the site's objectives for the lesson:
Here are some of the questions/goals posed by the site:
What are the big ideas? What specific understandings about them are desired?
What provocative questions will foster inquiry, understandings, and transfer of learning?
How does a character's actions give insight to his or her personality?
How does the author's use of relationships impact conflict and plot development?
How does history and historical evens help shape humanity?
What does it mean to be human vs what does it mean to be a monster? How can we define humanity?
