By 2 p.m. Tuesday, my hands were on Season 2 of True Blood, but though my $39.99 copy was available at Best Buy, the rest of the merchandise was already sold out.
I did got my hands on a bottle of Tru Blood for $3.99, but there were no tees or keychains left. However, there are tees left on the website for $9.99, such as Merlotte's waitress tees and the Bon Temps football shirt that Jason is always wearing.
Some other goodies I discovered, such as True Blood belts, change purses, tees, keychains and jewelry can be found at Etsy, Zugato, Atomic Mail, and Hot Topic.
But that's not the only opportunity to sink your fangs into the delicious sexiness that's True Blood. You could get on the show! Charity Buzz is featuring a "Extra" Walk-On Role for anyone with the cash to bid. The going rate as of today was $3,750, but there's still six days left to bid.
For those of us not as rich as the Queen of Louisiana, there's some extra news today. First, The Wall Street Journal announced that you can watch HBO through your PS3. The article stated, "A single episode of the HBO series "True Blood" will be available for download through the PS3 for $2.99."
There's also some new previews on HBO's website, such as this one, but if you want the most up-to-date information on extra previews, chances to win tickets to the True Blood event and more, try following the show on Twitter at http://twitter.com/TrueBloodHBO.
