'Twilight: New Moon' Big Teen Choice

There's stiff competition brewing when it comes to the Teen Choice Awards and not only The Twilight Saga: New Moon, but the actors involved with the films -- even though they might be working on other projects.  

The actors have been featured in 11 categories for this year's award show, set to air on August 9th. However, unless you're a teenager, or lie about your age as soon as you sign up on the site, you'll be told you can't vote. Also, you can't go back and change your age once you've been denied -- the site recognizes your email.  

What's unfortunate is that you're forced to sign up just to see the categories and the nominees, as the news hasn't picked up more than a general list of movies up for the awards. Other than New Moon, the cast is up for performances in Valentine's Day, Up In The Air, The Runaways and Remember Me (tear-jerker!)

According to Fox, the awards will be hosted by Katy Perry.  The site indicates that "Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Logan Lerman, Zachary Levi, Ryan Sheckler and Yvonne Strahovski will join previously announced participants David Archuleta, Kristen Bell, John Cena, Miranda Cosgrove, Zac Efron, Victoria Justice, Jim Parsons and Shailene Woodley on the star-studded special".
