Hostess with the Mostess Twilight Stuff

Still have a hankering for all things Twilight?

Well, if it's not enough that you can get decoder rings and other goodies in your Burger King kid's meals, check out Hostess with the Mostess for summer parties and weddings with the saga's theme.

There's a part 2 to the Twilight Tablescape wedding entry, an update of this entry.

The key seems to be using a lot of apples, greens, whites and woodsy themes in the decor as well as antiques and metal detailing. I especially loved them using chapter names as the table names at weddings. Brilliant!

Not only does the blogger have wedding theme, but free Eclipse printables here and here. You can print out favor tags, quotes, cupcake toppers, posters and more.

If you hate Twilight and love True Blood, check out "How Twilight Works".

The cartoon/rant about how bad the books are is slightly comical, but won't be to a Twihard. It's obviously written by someone outside the target demographic (I'm guessing a man over 25). The writer calls Bella "Pants" during the whole entry and makes cartoons such as this one about Edward, who is described as:

So after a few chapters of listening to Pants whine about high school, sucking at volleyball, and being the center of attention, the second major character is introduced. Imagine everything women want in a man, then exaggerate it by ten thousand - and you've got Edward Cullen. The level of detail that the author goes into while describing Edward's appearance is remarkable. At one point while reading I started counting the number of times the author used the expression "Edward's perfect face," and it was far into the double digits. The author excruciatingly details his muscular pecs, clothing, hair, eye color - even his goddamn breath (I'm not joking).

I wonder how the author of that comic would sum up the Sookie stories.

Anyway, I thought his summation of Twilight is spot on and that probably has a lot to do with why I can't get through the first book!

I think you'd like VA as well. I like Mead and Harris better than Meyer.

i like the chapter titles at table names! that would work with lots of books, good thinking!
