Party in the Hood


How about a Red Riding Hood party?  By this, I don't mean a bunch of women in skanky, too small, plastic "sexy" Halloween costumes.

 I mean a real party. Seeing as the movie may not get enough attention for Twilight parties for adults and teens (as I've written about before), you may want to save the Woodland Wonderland for the kiddos.

While Hostess with the Mostess is usually one of my first go-tos when it comes to party ideas, and she has one here, it's not my favorite Red Riding Hood party by far.

Probably the best is this four-year-old's birthday party (above and below) with capes as party favors and picnic baskets of treats. Here are some photos from the site:

And my favorite invitations are these by Inkyeverafter, on Etsy. (I'm sure it can be changed and not be about tea).  Each card is about $1.65 each, but you could consider hiring a cartoonist to do it for you for cheaper . . . like my husband.  He personalizes cartoons here.
