I cannot wait for Red Riding Hood to come out on March 11 -- especially after reading the YA novel. I downloaded it on my Nook and knocked it out in about two days (reading after work and before bed).
To celebrate, I am going to spend this week on details about Red and the Big Bad werewolf!
I know the site is supposed to focus on vampires, but I think that this sort of material qualifies, doesn't it?
It's all about potential supernatural bad boys (check) and revamping the old fairy tales in a modern way (check) and reminds us of Jacob Black . . .
Only white guys this time (check) . . . unless you count the ultra-pale Edward Cullen into the discussion of cute white boys. This also harkens back to the badass Grimm days. From what a colleague was telling me earlier this week, the original had some sexual undertones and murderous activity between ol' Red and the Wolf. She said that Red even got into the bed with the wolf sans clothing?
