If you are having Bill and Sookie withdrawal, you won't have to wait much longer. Though Season 3 won't kick off until June, Season Two will be out on DVD May 25th. While HBO offers pre-ordering, the DVDS are $40+, while Amazon and Wal-Mart are listing the set around $38. Also, check Best Buy the week before the new season hits. Generally they will have a $10 off sale.
Missing True Blood too much to wait until May 25? Good news! HBO recently released some news about the vampire series. The encore presentation of Season 2 is about to take off on "Sunday nights at 8PM ET/PT. Following each episode, a new Season 3 secret will be revealed. It's all leading up to the premiere June 13".
From what I hear through Alan Ball interviews and spoilers is that Lafayette will be getting a BF, Eric will play a more prominent role and have "sexy time" with model/actress Natasha Alam (left), werewolf Alcide will be introduced, Arlene will change and there might be an Eric-driven revenge plot. Ball's not giving up a lot of details, but teases he may or may not follow the book series' storyline (as it has been he's about 50/50). He also teases that Hoyt's mom kidnapped Bill, but we all know that's not true. Until then, get your fill of vamps and blood on the HBO True Blood homepage. They've released/will release free posters each week to promote Season Three. Two of the 12 are already available online.
