For those of you into the Twilight sage, you know that New Moon came out on DVD Saturday. (I got my three-disc exclusive from Target for $20). What you may not know, however, is that there's New Moon apparel everywhere.
While you can't find it online, Walmart has tons for $9 tees (including an Eclipse shirt, the Cullen crest, the Wolf pack tattoo and Forks High School shirts) and $5 rubber bracelets with charms that say things like "New Moon" or "La Push Diving Team." They also have totes that say "I Run with Wolves" and $5 buttons with different designs. I saw no evidence of these for sale on http://www.walmart.com/, so I took pics in the store for you (below)! Hot Topic and Target also have great stuff -- including reversible purses and hoodies with wolf ears!

I even had an idea for New Moon crafts/silhouettes. I can't draw, so I used photo programs to overlap a wolf and the woods and changed it to black and white. I plan on using this as a stencil to make a paper cut (by cutting out the moon and sliver between the trees). I also found a Bella and Edward that might work out well. it would be a good and cheap craft to frame for a teen's room! P.S. Or an obsessed 28 yr old mom's room! I kid, I kid! The great thing now is that since my daughter likes the Twilight & New Moon movies as much as I do, that I can buy all the stuff and pass it off as "Brielle wanted it"! :-)
LOL. I don't have an excuse like that. Can I pretend the cats wanted it?
