While I love, love, love looking at magazines and getting inspiration from the pages, I never understood who they were catering to. Take an email I got this morning about “Cool Mugs for Hot Drinks”. It sounded cute, but the first four examples were a $22 mug, a $31 mug, a $33 mug and one that prices between $40 and $50. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I can’t afford that because I’m not drinking my coffee with flakes of gold on top instead of cinnamon or caramel.
So if you're a coffee and tea addict like me, try Amazon, Starbucks, or a personalized mug through sites such as Walgreens (you can make photo collage mugs like I made for my dad’s birthday) or Zazzle (they have LOL Cats mugs). Sets of 5-8 mugs will generally be about $30 on Target, but some also come with a cup tree. Single mugs, especially if personalized, are usually between $7 and $12. If you just want to drink out of it and don't care what it looks like, try the Dollar Tree or Deals for cups between $1 and $3.
