While I've seen magazines and fashion websites claim that camo prints and metal details on clothing/shoes will be popular, I say save the camo for the soldiers and hunters. And as for wearing metal chains on your shirt and shoes? Save it for the Marylin Mansons and Kurt Cobains.
I think that Spring fashions will carry a 90s feel to it, but I think it's going to be a blend between glam/romantic and the tops the ladies might have worn when rocking to Bush, No Doubt and Rage Against the Machine. My picks for the Spring are going to combine the rocker feel of military/Sgt.Pepper jackets, plaid shirts, cowboy boots and platforms with the girly accessories like long strings of pearls and skeleton key necklaces.
To dress up jeans this spring, try platform sandals or vibrant ballet shoes with suit jackets over feminine tops. To really dress up jeans, look for platform heels with ruffles, flower accents or cowboy boots in wild colors.
I also think that fashion will move away from the hobo bags and giant purses to small, more chic styles. The most popular? I think it will be the clutch!
